Badminton Social | Nottingham was founded in 2006. It began as a small group of friends, and has since grown to become the largest LGBT badminton club in the East Midlands.

We have members coming from across the region, and regularly attract around 20 players each week from across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and around.

Whether you're a confident player, brand new to the sport or feeling a bit rusty and looking to get back on court, we aim to offer an inclusive and welcoming group, with the expectation that your confidence and abilities will grow and improve as you join in with some more challenging games with our advanced players. We hire 4 courts each session to ensure players of differing abilities are able to mix up and play a variety of games.

We relocated to the Bluecoat Aspley Academy in the Spring of 2019, having been based at Samworth Academy since 2013. Prior to that we met at the Harvey Hadden Sports Centre, and were originally founded at the Victoria Leisure Centre in Nottingham city centre.
